AIADA works to promote awareness of legal rights guaranteed under the Constitution of India, the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and other applicable laws. Through advocacy and public engagement, AIADA seeks to encourage effective legal implementation and remove socio-economic barriers.
Access to reliable legal information is essential. AIADA works to simplify complex disability-related laws, government notifications, office memoranda, and court rulings into clear, accessible plain language for individuals, families, educators, and employers.
Promoting barrier-free environments across physical infrastructure, public transit, education, digital websites, and communication systems. Accessibility enables independent living and dignified participation for all.
Providing general information regarding disability certificates, the Unique Disability ID (UDID) portal, eligibility criteria, application workflows, and official administrative procedures.
Conducting educational workshops, stakeholder consultations, and research documentation on disability rights implementation, psychosocial disability, and inclusive policy frameworks.
