Welcome to AIADA

The All India Association For Differently Abled (AIADA) was established with the conviction that disability rights are an integral part of human rights and that an inclusive society benefits everyone.

India has made significant progress in recognising and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities through the enactment of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and its commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). The effective realisation of these rights, however, depends upon awareness, accessibility, informed participation and collaborative action by individuals, institutions and society as a whole.

AIADA works towards these objectives by promoting awareness of disability rights, encouraging accessibility, disseminating reliable legal and policy information and engaging with stakeholders on matters concerning inclusion and equal opportunity.
